ISFM CAT FRIENDLY CLINIC ACCREDITATION

Concord Veterinary Hospital takes great pride in having been awarded Silver Accreditation as a Cat Friendly Practice from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM).

Remarkably, there are only 17 accredited clinics throughout Australia, and just four of those are located in New South Wales. Among these four, Concord Veterinary Hospital stands out as the only Silver Accredited clinic, while the remaining three have achieved Gold Accreditation (including our friends at the Small Animal Expert Hospital – SASH). This accomplishment certainly sets us apart and highlights our unique dedication to feline care.

 The International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) is a globally renowned organisation dedicated to advancing and promoting the highest standards of feline medicine and welfare. With a strong focus on education, research, and the dissemination of knowledge, the ISFM aims to improve the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of feline health conditions.

Established as a branch of the International Cat Care charity, the ISFM strives to be a leading resource for veterinary professionals, cat owners, and feline enthusiasts alike. The society provides a wealth of information, including webinars, conferences, publications, and continuing education programmes, designed to keep its members up-to-date with the latest advancements in feline medicine.

One of the key initiatives of the ISFM is the Cat Friendly Clinic Programme, which recognises veterinary practices that go above and beyond to create a welcoming and stress-free environment for cats and their owners.
